Rachel began her dance training in Philadelphia at the age of 5, training and performing in ballet, tap and jazz.  Rachel also trained and competed in gymnastics for 11 years. She continued with gymnastics through her cheerleading days at Lower Merion High School. Rachel’s gymnastics and dance background helped her achieve the All-Star cheerleading team in 1991. During college, Rachel decided to spread her love of fitness and became an AFAA and Reebok certified group fitness instructor.  After graduating with a BS in Business from Babson College, Rachel trained in Hip Hop at the Koresh Dance Center, worked with personal trainers and took group exercise classes for many years to achieve and maintain her fitness goals.

Returning to the world of fitness after having 3 children, Rachel became instantly passionate about Barre ballet.  Rachel is ‘Barre Focus Fitness’ certified and is recently certified in Barre through ‘Exhale’, after completing an extensive training with Fred DeVito.  Rachel has also completed Barre workshops at ‘Physique 22’ in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and at ‘Fly Barre’ in New York City.   She credits Barre for transforming her body, improving her posture, re-creating definition, building strength and reaching her highest level of fitness ever. Rachel is dedicated to transforming the minds and bodies of her clients.  Her goal is to motivate and inspire her clients throughout each and every class and for her clients to leave feeling more confident with themselves.  Rachel strives to share the same passion that she has for Barre with all of her clients. Through her attention to detail, form and alignment, Rachel brings her clients to a higher level of fitness, strength and flexibility within each class or private session.

Rachel teaches Barre, Level 2, Barre Cardio and private sessions at Barre Focus Fitness in Haverford, Focus Barre & Yoga in Philadelphia, Physique 22 in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and Shooting Star Golf and Ski Resort in Teton Village, Wyoming.  In addition to Barre, Rachel loves spending time biking and hiking in the Tetons.  She is also a passionate skier, an avid runner, and enjoys practicing Yoga.  Rachel is First Aid and CPR certified.
